As far as fundraising goes we have several ideas about what we are going to do to make money. Our major fundraisers are the Tamarack Wing Night which is being held at the Deep River Legion on April 2nd and Trivia Night, which takes place in the Mackenzie gym on April 31st. Recently, we organized a three-day rock paper, scissors Tournament from March 29th to the 31st. The cost to enter the Tournament was $2 and our net profit at the moment is about $88. Another upcoming fundraiser is our movie nights where you can see the movie Cheaper by the Dozen for $3 on April 8th. We are also showing the movie 50 First Dates on May 20th for the same price. Lastly we have a cakewalk on April 21st which costs $1 for a chance at winning a cake. There are a few other ideas for fundraisers that have not been finalized but we look forward to keeping you updated in the future.
